Google Workspace & Microsoft 365

Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, done properly and kept that way.

We migrate, consolidate and secure email and files for small and mid-size companies, then keep them running. Either platform, either direction. Our advice isn't tied to a partner agreement, so we have no reason to move you off the one you already have.

None of these are unusual, and all of them are fixable. Two or more usually means the setup was never really finished.

What we do

What we take care of

01

Migration

Google to Microsoft, Microsoft to Google, or off an old host. Mail, calendars, contacts and files move with their history, and mail keeps flowing during the switch.

02

Merger consolidation

Two companies onto one domain and one system, with a shared directory, shared calendars and room bookings that work for both sides.

03

Security

MFA enforced for everyone, admin roles that make sense, device rules, spam and phishing filtering, and a recovery plan that doesn't depend on one person's phone.

04

License cleanup

We line up what you pay for against who actually works there. It's usually the quickest saving in the whole project.

05

Email deliverability

SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up correctly, so your invoices and proposals stop landing in your clients' spam folders.

06

Ongoing admin

Onboarding, offboarding, password resets and someone to call. Optional, and priced monthly.

Choosing

Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?

Both are good. The right one usually depends on how your people already work and what your clients send you, not on a feature list.

For most small companies either one works. The expensive mistake is running both by accident. We wrote a longer comparison: Google Workspace vs Microsoft 365.

How it works

How a migration goes

  1. 01

Thirty minutes in your admin console

You share your screen, we look at what's there and tell you what we'd change. Free, and useful whether or not you hire us.

  2. 02

    A written plan

What moves, what changes for staff, what it costs and the cutover date. You approve it before anything is touched.

  3. 03

    Preparation

DNS records lowered ahead of time, accounts created, shared mailboxes and calendars mapped, history copied in the background, and a short note to staff about what to expect.

  4. 04

    Cutover

Done outside working hours. Mail routing switches, a final sync catches anything that arrived in between, and we check that mail is flowing both ways.

  5. 05

    The first week

We're on hand for the phone that won't sync and the calendar that looks empty. Most questions are small, and they get answered the same day.

  6. 06

    After that

Either we hand over documentation and admin access to your team, or we stay on monthly. Your choice.

Questions

What people ask before they call

Can you move us from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365, or the other way round?

Yes, in either direction, and off older hosts as well. Mail, calendars, contacts and files move with their history. Staff mostly notice that they sign in to a different app on their phone.

Will we lose any email during the migration?

You shouldn't. History is copied before the cutover, mail routing is switched at a planned time, and a final sync afterwards picks up anything that arrived during the switch.

How long does a migration take?

It depends on the number of mailboxes, how much data there is and how tidy the current setup is. We give you a cutover date after the first look at your admin console, not before.

We merged with another company. Can everyone end up on one domain?

Yes. That's one of the most common projects we do: one directory, one domain for everyone, shared calendars, and the old addresses still delivering so nothing gets lost.

Do you only do projects, or ongoing support as well?

Both. Ongoing admin covers onboarding, offboarding, access changes and someone to call. It's optional and priced monthly.

Do you have non-profit rates?

Yes. We keep separate rates for non-profits. Google Workspace done properly is one of the things non-profits ask us for most.
